Lake Ruovesi

The Ruovesi is a lake in the Finnish landscape Pirkanmaa.

It lies in the catchment area of ​​the Kokemäenjoki in the communities Ruovesi and Mänttä - Vilppula. The lake covers an area of ​​66.08 km ² and is situated at an altitude of 96.1 m. The maximum water depth is 46.55 m.

The lake is divided into several pools that merge into one another. To the east flows the outflow of Kuorevesi in Ruovesi. From the north the waters of the Tarjanne reached via two outflow arms which surround the island Salonsaari the east and west, the Ruovesi. The Ruovesi is part of a lake system that flows through the Palovesi Näsijärvi. On the southwest shore is the same community Ruovesi.
