Lake Sibhayi
The Sibaya Lake is the largest natural freshwater lake in South Africa. It is located in KwaZulu -Natal on the border with Mozambique. From the sea it is separated only by a two- kilometer wide strip.
Presumably, the lake was created by a lagoon which was separated by sand deposits from the sea.
