Warmest lake in Europe

The Velencei See ( Hungarian: Velencei -tó, German: Welenzer lake ) is the third natural lake of Hungary.

Location

The lake is at 103 m, approximately halfway between Lake Balaton ( Balaton ), and 40 km from the capital Budapest in Fejér county. History

The name Velencei not appear until the 15th century.
