Lakeville [ leɪkvɪl ] is a city in the U.S. state of Minnesota. It is located in Dakota County located in the metropolitan Minneapolis -Saint Paul and one of the fastest growing cities in Minnesota. The population in 2010 was at 55,954.

Geography
