Incident

On the morning of November 29, 2013 an Embraer 190 disappeared on flight TM470 with 27 passengers and 6 crew members on board on the way from Maputo to Luanda from the radar. The flight was last located via Rundu in Namibia on the border with Angola. During the day there was initially speculation that the machine could be an emergency landing due to heavy rain in the Kavango region in East Bwabwata National Park. The following day, however, the completely burnt out wreckage of the aircraft was found at Omega in the Kavango region -east, near the borders with Angola and Botswana, after the darkness had the search more difficult. All inmates who came from Mozambique, Angola, Portugal / Brazil, France and China, were killed. The end of December, it was reported that the crash had been caused deliberately. After the first officer had left the cockpit, the captain locked the cockpit door and manipulated the autopilot so that the aircraft had crashed. The now returned first officer asked in vain to be let into the cockpit.
