Lam Plai Mat District

Amphoe Lam Plai Mat ( Thai: อำเภอ ลำ ปลายมาศ ) is a district ( Amphoe - administrative district ) of Buriram Province. The Buriram province is located in the northeast region of Thailand, the so-called Isaan.

Geography

Neighboring districts ( from northeast clockwise): Amphoe Khu Mueang which, Mueang Buriram, Chamni and Nong Hong of Buriram Province, and Amphoe Huai Thalaeng, Chum Phuang and Lam Thamenchai in the province of Nakhon Ratchasima.

Management

Lam Plai Mat The county is divided into 16 subdistricts (tambon ), which are further subdivided into 220 villages ( Muban ).

There are two small towns ( thesaban tambon) in the district:

• Lam Plai Mat ( Thai: เทศบาล ตำบล ลำ ปลายมาศ ) consists of parts of tambon Lam Plai Mat, Nong Khu and Hin Khon,
• Thamen Chai ( Thai: เทศบาล ตำบล ทะ เมน ชัย ) consists of parts of tambon Nong Bua Khok and Thamenchai.

There are also 15 " Tambon Administrative Organizations" (TAO, องค์การ บริหาร ส่วน ตำบล - administrative organizations).
