Lama (also Lamba and Losso ) is the language of West African ethnic group Lama, who lives mainly in Togo, but is also common in Benin and Ghana. It has a relationship to temperature and Kabiye.

In Togo lived 1991 117.400 speakers in the prefectures Kande and Doufelgou ( Kara region). More than 50 percent of the Lama Speakers are distributed over central Togo in the prefectures Sotouboua, Ogou and Haho. A larger group of Lama - speakers to still live in Lome.
