Lamastre

Lamastre is a commune with 2459 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2011 ) in Ardèche, in the Rhône -Alpes.

Geography

Lamastre is located in the eastern foothills of the Massif Central, in the valley of the Doux. Terminus of the heritage railway Chemin de Fer du Vivarais from Tournon -sur -Rhône. The town is the gateway to the Regional Natural Park of Monts d' Ardèche ( Parc naturel régional des Monts d' Ardèche).
