Lambert Hamel

Lambert Hamel ( born June 7, 1940 in Ludwigshafen am Rhein ) is a German actor and voice actor.

Training and first engagements

After high school, Hamel studied from 1960 to 1962 German literature, philosophy and theater studies at the Universities of Heidelberg and Cologne. He then studied acting training at the Westphalian Drama School in Bochum. During his training took him director Oscar Fritz Schuh to the German Schauspielhaus in Hamburg, where he debuted in The Imaginary Invalid by Molière in 1963.

Theatre and Film

Hamel was committed in the course of his career as an actor in several German theaters. He worked in 1964 at the Schauspielhaus Bochum, then changed for the next four years on the stages of the city of Cologne and was from 1968 worked for the Bavarian State Theatre. From 1973 to 2001 he was a permanent member of the Munich Chamber games, before he returned for season 2001 /02 to the Bavarian State Theatre. In addition, Hamel guest engagements perceived at the Salzburg Festival and the Vienna Burgtheater.

Hamel has also been involved as an actor in numerous film and television productions (see Filmography ). Furthermore, Hamel operated as a reader of audio books and as a voice actor, among other things, Philippe Noiret, Charlton Heston, Frank Langella, Lionel Stander and Raúl Juliá.
