Lambert Mende Omalanga

Lambert Mende Omalanga (* 1952 in Lodja ) is a Congolese politician of the United Congolese Convention, which he is chairman since 2006. He is currently the Minister of Communications of the country.

Life

In the 1980s, Mende was active in the Mouvement Populaire de la Révolution and hosted radio programs on the youth work of the movement. After a few years in exile as an activist in Europe, he was from 1990 to 1992 for the National Conference ( Conférence Nationale sovereigns ) and later joined in the Second Congo War Rassemblement Congolais pour la Démocratie the. From 2003 to 2007 Mende was a member of the Congolese Senate. Since 2006 he has been Member of Parliament for the district since 2008 Lodja and Communications Minister.
