The Lamborghini Estoque is a four-door concept car from Lamborghini, which was presented on the eve of the 2008 Paris Motor Show.

According to various media reports, the Estoque will be the first produced in the People's Republic of China vehicle of the Italian brand. The start of production was announced for the year 2012.

Development

The performance of the Estoque is 412 kW ( 560 hp ), which come from a V10 behind the front axle. This comes from the Lamborghini Gallardo. If it comes to a series production, even a of this same V10 derived from the Gallardo V8 with or without an additional electric motor or maybe even a diesel engine would be possible. Like all current Lamborghini models and the Estoque has a permanent all-wheel drive. The length of the Lamborghini Estoque is 5150 mm, the height is only 1350 mm. Furthermore, the width amounts to 1990 mm. Whether it is an actual series production, is not yet clear.

Name

The name comes Estoque how many names of Lamborghini models also, from the bullfighting and called the 90 cm long rapier, with the matador kills a bull.
