Lamport signature

The Lamport - Diffie one-time signature schemes (English Lamport - Diffie one- time signature scheme, short LD -OTS ) is a signature scheme, which was developed in 1979 by Leslie Lamport and Whitfield Diffie. It uses a one-way function, which is a collision- resistant hash function.

LD -OTS uses two keys, a signing key and a verification key. To verify later a document, as well as the one-way function used must be known.
