Lamson Farm

History

The approximately 125 -acre farm was built around 1770. About seven generations it has been farmed by the family Lamson. The site also houses the remains of a school and another farm that had acquired the Lamson.

The farm is now owned by the town of Mont Vernon, who set up here a protection zone. Each year in September, is celebrated there the Lamson Farm Day.

In 1981, the farm was entered in the National Register of Historic Places.
