Lana Lane

Lana Lane ( * in Concord, California) is an American rock singer from Santa Rosa, California. She is active in the band is named after her and helps in the group Rocket Scientists in the background vocals. They also mastered the guitar and piano. Lana Lane sings as a guest in Ambeon, Ayreon and on the solo albums of her husband, the musician and producer Erik Norlander, who also produced their albums. The couple owns a record company called Think Tank Media in Woodland Hills (Los Angeles ).

Lana grew up in a very musical family, with rock music and big- band swing, and so they began right after high school in order to sing in bands. In order to promote her career, she moved in the late 1980s to Los Angeles, where she met her future husband.

The first albums by Lana Lane had success especially in Japan. Only with the third it has established itself elsewhere, initially in Europe. The style of music changes from album to album. Most often dominate written by Lana herself quiet rock or power ballads. Very often cover versions are presented, on the albums Cover Collection ( 2003), Gemini ( 2006) are even only interpretations of well known title. In recent years, the style has become a little harder and has generally evolved toward Symphonic Rock, Symphonic Metal and Progressive Metal.
