Lanark County
Lanark County is a county located in the southeast of the Canadian province of Ontario. The County Seat is Perth. Its population is 65 667 (2011), the area of 3033.82 km ², which corresponds to a population density of 21.6 inhabitants per km ². Named after the city is the county Lanark in Scotland. Lanark County is one of the main production areas of Canadian maple syrup and describes itself as " Ontario's maple syrup capital".
