Lance Stephenson

Lance Stephenson, Jr. ( born September 5, 1990 in Brooklyn, New York ) is an American professional basketball player. He currently plays for the Indiana Pacers in the NBA.

Career

High School & College

Stephenson visited the Abraham Lincoln High School in Brooklyn, which also visited the former NBA player Stephon Marbury and Sebastian Telfair.

June 30, 2009 Stephenson announced that he will play for the University of Cincinnati. In his first season in Cincinnati Stephenson scored an average of 12.3 points and 5.4 rebounds per game. After just one season in Cincinnati, he signed up for the NBA Draft.

NBA

Indiana Pacers (2010 -present)

When NBA Draft 2010, the Indiana Pacers Stephenson selected in the second round in 40th place of the draft. Overall, he played in his first season only 12 games for the Indiana Pacers, before he was demoted at the end of the season due to discrepancies and no longer was used.

On April 25, 2012, in his second season, Stephenson was the first time in the starting five.

Due to an injury to Danny Granger Stephenson was appointed to the starting five again in his third season. He stood in this season 72 times in the starting lineup. In addition, he was able to achieve 8.8 points and 3.9 rebounds.

For the 2013-14 season Stephenson retained his place in the starting five and became an important player of his team. On November 11, 2013 Stephenson scored the first triple -double of his career with 13 points, 11 rebounds and 12 assists against the Memphis Grizzlies.
