The Association of the Transylvanian Saxons in Germany e V. represents the interests of the Transylvanian Saxons in Germany. Seat of the nonprofit association is Munich. The external representation is up to the national chairman, who is elected for a term of four years by delegates to the Association days. History

On 26 June 1946, in Munich, the Association of the Transylvanian Saxons and Banat Swabians in Germany, who renamed himself on February 11, 1950 in Association of the Transylvanian Saxons in Germany after the Banat Swabians had founded their own association.
