Lane Evans

Lane Allen Evans ( * August 4, 1951 in Rock Iceland, Illinois) is an American politician. Between 1983 and 2007 he represented the state of Illinois in the U.S. House of Representatives.

Career

Lane Evans attended Sacred Heart School and from then until 1969, the Alleman High School in Rock Iceland. From 1969 to 1971 he served during the Vietnam War in the Marine Corps. He was stationed in Okinawa. After his military service, he continued his studies until 1974 at Augustana College in Rock continued Iceland. After studying law at Georgetown University in Washington DC and his 1977 was admitted to the bar he began to work in this profession.
