Langewahl
Langewahl ( Lower Ławjele ) is a municipality in the Oder-Spree district and is part of the Office Scharmutzelsee.

Geography
The place Langewahl, a typical German street village, southeast of Prince forest south of the A12 motorway between the Spree and the Dubrower mountains in the state of Brandenburg.
History
The foundation of the town is not possible to indicate precisely because there is no documentary evidence exists. The congregation Langewahl belonged to build its own church in 1953/54, the church community Neu Golm. In the church there are no major book entries on the creation time of Langewahl to find. In the second half of the 19th century, a chronicle was written by the village schoolteacher. The Year of foundation is named there by 1753.
Around the year 1750, Frederick II offered his captain Winkelmann for their outstanding merits in the second Silesian War lands for cultivation near the town Fiirstenwalde to. After much deliberation - the choice for the location of his new home is not easy for him like - he was then southeast of the city down. There he built the first house of the area; other families were settled. The land required for this purpose had to cede farmers of old and new Golm.
