Langley is a place in the unincorporated area of ​​Fairfax County. It is part of the Census-designated place McLean ( Virginia).

The town was founded in 1910 merged with Lewin Ville, but still has its own high school. Nowadays Langley is not much more than a suburb of Washington DC.

The place is known as the headquarters of the CIA, the Foreign Intelligence Service of the United States, which is why the name is used metonymically for the CIA. Furthermore, the Turner - Fairbank Highway Research Center of the Federal Highway Administration is in Langley.

Also located in Langley, the Claude Moore Colonial Farm, which is part of the National Park Service.
