Lango (proper name: leb lango ) is a westnilotische language that is spoken by almost a million people in Uganda.

These belong to the ethnic group of the Langi. The Lango is used in primary education, in radio programs and in newspapers and written with the Latin alphabet.

Note

There is yet another African language called Lango, this is one of the Eastern Nilotic languages ​​and is spoken by about 20,000 people in Sudan ( language code according to ISO 639-3: lno ).
