Langrenus (crater)

Langrenus is an impact crater on the southeast hemisphere of the visible part of the moon east of Mare Fecunditatis. He was named after the Belgian mathematician and astronomer Michael Florent van Langren ( 1598-1675 ).

The crater has a diameter of about 132 km. It has a clearly pronounced central peak.
