The Langtauferer top is a 3528 m above sea level. A. high, broad peak in the white crest in the Ötztal Alps. The summit lies on the border between Tyrol ( Austria ) and South Tyrol (Italy). Increase opportunities

The easiest ascent starts through the Langtauferer yoke, which is located northeast of the summit. You can get there from Hochjochhospiz, from the white ball hut or from the Brandenburg house. From the pass, the increase starts via the rocky north ridge to a Firnschulter, which is about halfway up. From there, the route traverses southward over the Langtauferer - yoke Further to the east ridge. On the Firnschneide you get to the summit. From the white ball hut and from the Brandenburg house is about 4 hours for this increase to schedule the Hochjochjospiz about 5 hours. Alternatively, the upper part of the Nordgrats are committed. This is difficult, however, depending on the conditions in the upper part.
