Lanhouarneau ( Lanhouarne Breton ) is a commune in the Finistère department in Bretagne 1207 inhabitants (as of 1 January 2011). Morlaix lies 27 kilometers (km) to the east, 29 km south-west of Brest and Paris, about 480 km to the east. The closest distance to the north coast of Brittany is about 8 km.

In Landivisiau and Landerneau are the next departures of the highway E 50 (Rennes -Brest ) and the next regional stations. Near the city of Brest, there is a regional airport.
