Lani Hall

Lani Hall ( born November 1, 1945 in Chicago, Illinois ) is an American singer. From 1966 to 1971 she was the lead singer of Sergio Mendes & Brasil '66. As of 1985, she embarked on a solo career before she dedicated herself to the education of her daughter. She also wrote novels and produced a television documentary about her husband Herb Alpert. In 1998, she returned with the album " Brasil Nativo " for solo career.

Between 1972 and 1983 she released seven albums. For "It Facil Amar " she got a Grammy in 1985.

Lani Hall is married to Herb Alpert since 1973 and has one daughter.
