Lanitz-Hassel-Tal

Lanitz - Hassel Valley is a town in Burgenland district, in Saxony -Anhalt. It was formed on 1 July 2009 from the voluntary association of municipalities and Möllern Taugwitz. The community belongs to the municipality on the fin, which was also formed on 1 July 2009 ( the first municipality in the state of Saxony- Anhalt).

Geography

The community is located between Apolda and Naumburg ( Saale) on the ridge of the fin. In the south the city borders on Thuringia.

The climate in the region is part of the Central German dry region with 536 mm of rainfall ( average of the last 25 years) and a mean annual temperature of 9.6 degrees Celsius.
