Lannemezan

Lannemezan is a French town with 5861 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2011 ) in the department of Hautes -Pyrénées in the Midi-Pyrénées region. It belongs to the district Bagneres -de- Bigorre, and for the same canton Lannemezan.

Geography

Lannemezan is a Bastide between the cities of Tarbes and Toulouse, on the National Road 117, as well as the French motorway A64 in the Pyrenees. It is located on the plateau of Lannemezan on which arises a multitude of rivers. The city is crossed by the rivers Petite Baise Baise and Darré.
