Lannilis

Lannilis ( Lanniliz Breton ) is a commune in the north west of Brittany in the département of Finistère with 5320 inhabitants (as of 1 January 2011). It is located beside the sea on a peninsula on the Cote des Abers.

Infrastructure

Brest is located 20 kilometers (km ) south of Paris and about 500 km to the east.

In Brest there is the next departures of the expressways E 50 E 60 direction towards Rennes and Nantes.

The station is the terminus of Brest regional railway lines and the TGV Atlantique to Paris. From 1898 to 1940, there was a narrow- gauge railway, which in Plabennec of the route Brest - teed Saint- Pol-de -Léon, and the Wrac'h led over Lannilis to Landéda and on to the port of Aber. In 1931 it was decided by the replacement bus service.

15 km south of the village near the city of Brest is the regional airport Aéroport de Brest Bretagne.

With the Alsatian community Lapoutroie is twinned.
