The monastery Lannoy ( Alnetum ) is a former abbey of the Cistercian Order in France. It is located in the town of Roy - Boissy in the department of Oise, Picardie region, about four kilometers west of Marseilles -en- Beauvoisis and about 19 kilometers north- west of Beauvais.

History

The monastery in Brio position in the valley of the Petit Thérain founded in 1135, but after two years moved to his place later belonged to the Congregation of Savigny. It concurred with that in 1147 the Cistercian order and assumed the filiation of Clairvaux Abbey Primary. In 1592 it was besieged and burned by the Huguenots. The church was badly damaged. 1658 collapsed the vault of the nave, which was shortened then. The monastery had four Gran Gien in Vieux- Brio Stel, its founding place, Thieuloy, Belval and Orsimont. 1790 the monastery was abolished during the French Revolution.

Buildings and plant

From the plant in a pristine valley, the abbot's house, the building of the Wirtschaftshofs, the mill and the fountain in the cloister are preserved. From the abbey are still further the Gästebau and the court house from the 17th century. The church was founded in 1810 canceled. 1967, the cornerstone of one of the chapels of the ambulatory was discovered. Subsequently carried out excavations have uncovered with the chapels as well as some grave stones and the remains of the plaster choir and transept.
