Lansing–Ishii Agreement

The Lansing - Ishii Agreement (English Lansing - Ishii Agreement; jap石井·ランシング 協定, Ishii Ranshingu Kyotei ) was adopted on November 2, 1917 between the Japanese Empire and the United States of America. Negotiators from both countries were former Japanese Foreign Minister Ishii Kikujirō and U.S. Secretary of State Robert Lansing. With the conclusion of this agreement, the two Pacific powers agreed on their interests in China.
