Lanze

Lance is a municipality in the Delvenau in the Duchy of Lauenburg, in Schleswig- Holstein.

Parts of its territory located in the nature reserve Lauenburg Elbvorland.

History

The village was first mentioned in Ratzeburg tithe register of 1230 for the first time and is a former fishing village. In 1500 the place was called Country sentence. On April 17, 1893, the entire village was burned down by arson. By 1964 the country was also frequently affected by floods around lance, a pumping station drains today the southern field marks.

Party

Of the nine seats in the municipal council has the voter community WGL since the local elections 2008 six seats and voters Community AAL three.

Infrastructure

The last grocery store was closed in 1978, the only restaurant (Restaurant zum Brauhaus ) 2006.

Founded in 1969 TTC Green-White Lance has built a gymnasium in-house performance 1985/86.
