Lapeer Loggers

The Lapeer Loggers were an American ice hockey team from Lapeer, Michigan. The team played in the 2010/11 season in the All American Hockey League.

History

The Lapeer Loggers were founded in 2010 as a franchise of the All American Hockey League. On 22 August 2010, the league officially confirmed the inclusion of the team. As the first head coach of the franchise history of the Canadian Lorne Knauft was committed. Former professional players spent much of his career in various minor leagues, including the American Hockey League. In January 2011, the franchise was continued under the name Michigan Moose. Even during its premiere season, the team was, however, dissolved, its 21 and last season game the team had contested 30 January 2011 against the Chi -Town Shooters.
