Lapin Kulta

Lapin Kulta is a Finnish brewery. It was founded in 1873 in the city of Tornio under the name Torneå Bryggeri Aktiebolaget 1953 and changed its name to Tornion Olut Oy. 1963 merged Tornion Olut Oy with the consolidated Olut Lapin Lapin Kulta Oy Oy to and began his beer with the same name to market. Lapin Kulta means "The Gold of Lapland ".

Since 1980, Lapin Kulta belongs to the Hartwall Group and is today the second largest brewery in Finland and the second largest in the Nordic countries. In the year 2001 123 million liters Lapin Kulta beer were sold in Finland alone. In addition to Finland and Sweden Lapin Kulta is also available in various other European countries: Russia, Norway, Estonia, England, Switzerland, Germany, Italy, Austria and Spain.
