Lapporten to German flap gate, a glaciated valley is southeast of Abisko in Swedish Lapland. The nordsamische name Čuonjávággi consists of the words čuonjá together for goose and VAGGI for Fjälltal, where the prefix is used in other place names of the area. Another, however, older spelling is Tjuonavagge.

The valley is bordered by the two mountains Tjuonatjåkka ( 1554 m ö.h. ) and Nissuntjårro (1738 m ö.h. ), the bottom is at an altitude of about 1000 m meters above sea level.

Lapporten located near the lake Tornetrask within the 25,781 -acre FFH area Nissuntjårro, which was created as part of Natura 2000. In the west this area is adjacent to the National Park Abisko.

With its characteristic U-shape makes it the symbol of Abisko and one of the most photographed Fjällmotiven Lapland.
