The Río Laca Jahuira ( Aymara: Laq'a Jawira ) is a river in the province of Ladislao Cabrera in the department of Oruro in the highlands of South American Andes State of Bolivia.

The Río Laca Jahuira has, when the water surface at Poopósee reaches its origin at a height of 3686 m directly south of the Poopó lake where it is formed in the humid summer months from December to March to peak. The effluent from the Poopósee water then flows past the town of Pampa Aullagas in western directions and reached in about 135 kilometers to the situated at an altitude of 3657 m salt lake Salar de Coipasa, seeps at the east bank of the watercourse.

In the low rainfall season provides the Río Desaguadero, the main tributary of the Poopósees, less water will be lost in the lake there by evaporation, so that gradually drops a few meters back in the dry winter months the water level of Poopósees. During this time, the inflow of water is largely disconnected from the Río Laca Jahuira, so that the Laca Jahuira hardly leads in these months water.
