Larissa Vassilian

Larissa Vassilian ( born June 17 1976 in Konstanz ) is a German journalist German - Armenian origin. She became famous by her stage name Annik Rubens with her podcast " Sleepless in Munich " ( SiM ), with whom she regularly reaches over 10,000 listeners. This makes it one of the most successful Podcasterinnen in the German language area. She lives in Munich.

Life

Vassilian was born as the daughter of German painter from Lower Bavaria Sylvia Vassilian and the Armenian graduate computer scientist Rouben Vassilian. She attended the Franz -Marc -Gymnasium in Markt Schwaben. After high school she studied from 1995 to 2003 as part of a master's degree program American Cultural History, Political Science and International Studies at the Ludwig- Maximilians- University of Munich. In 2003 and 2004 she completed a correspondence course Freelance Writing and Feature at the London School of Journalism.

Journalistic career

Journalistic went through several stations Vassilian first as an intern and freelancer for various print media. Among other things, she was ( three days! ) As Pauschalistin for the Süddeutsche Zeitung in Ebersberg, the evening paper, and very briefly worked for the Munich edition of Bild Zeitung ( 2001). Podcasting
