Larnagol

Larnagol ( Occitan: Larnagol ) is a southern French village with 134 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2011 ). It is located in the cultural landscape of the Quercy in the Lot department in the Midi-Pyrénées region.

Location

Larnagol lies on the River Lot at an altitude of about 350 meters above sea level. inst on the southwestern edge of the Massif Central. The nearest town, Figeac, about 35 km ( driving distance ) in a northeasterly direction is removed; Cahors is located about 40 kilometers to the west. The nearby towns of Saint- Cirq- Lapopie, Bouziès and Cénevières all worth a visit.

Demographics

History

Attractions

  • The Château de Larnagol is located in the city and originates from the 13th century; it was rebuilt in the 15th century.
