Larry Harlow (salsa)

Larry Harlow, born as Lawrence Ira Kahn, also called " El Judio Maravilloso " ( born March 20, 1939 in Brooklyn ) is a salsa musician, composer and producer American descent.

Life

Larry Harlow is the son of Jewish parents; his mother Rose Kahn with artist name Rose Sherman was an opera singer, while his father Buddy Kahn under the name Buddy Harlowe as a leader in the Latin Quarter Nightclub worked.

Larry Harlow came to prominence as a multi-instrumentalist and salsa bandleader a name. In Cuba, Larry Harlow studied the roots of Afro-Cuban music and combined this with elements of jazz.
