Larry Stefanki

Larry Stefanki ( born July 23, 1957 in Elmhurst, Illinois ) is an American former tennis player and tennis coach.

Tennis career

He played from 1979 nine years on the ATP Tour, where he won three tournaments in a single tournament and in doubles. In the world ranking was its highest ranking of 39th place.

He is better known as a tennis coach. He coached among others John McEnroe, Marcelo Ríos, Yevgeny Kafelnikov, and Tim Henman. Rios and Kafelnikov he made the Number 1 in the world rankings and Henman managed under his direction at # 4 in the world rankings. Stefanki was also coach of Fernando González.
