Larry Wade

Larry Wade ( born November 22, 1974 in Giddings, Texas ) is a former American track and field athlete.

Career

Larry Wade trained under the top American coach John Smith, who also oversaw the likes of Maurice Greene and Ato Boldon. He celebrated his biggest international success with a fourth place finish at the World Athletics Championships in Paris in 2003 in the 110m hurdles. On 11 May 2004 Wade tested positive for nandrolone at a 19 - training control. After the U.S. Track and Field Federation USTAF handed over the case of the U.S. Anti -Doping Agency in September 2004 he was retroactive to July 12, 2004 closed in November 2005.

With his personal best of 13.01 seconds in the 110m hurdles, he is the eleventh best hurdler of all time.
