Lars Lunde

Lars Lunde ( born March 21, 1964 in Nyborg ) is a Danish football coach and former football player.

Career

Clubs

Lars Lunde began his professional career at the first division club Brondby IF for which he completed two seasons. At the age of 20 he joined the Swiss National division club Young Boys Bern and immediately became the top scorer in Switzerland.

For the 1986/87 season Lunde moved to Germany for Bundesliga club Bayern Munich. His start he gave on 18 October 1986 ( 11th Round ), in a 1-1 away draw against Blue-White 90 Berlin. On March 28, 1987 ( 22 Matchday) in the 2-1 win in the away match against Hamburger SV he managed his first goal; it was ahead 1-0 in the top of the table encounter first (Bayern Munich ) against second. In the 21 games of his first season he scored two and the nine subsequent a goal; further he came in the European Cup finals eight times for use - including the lost with 1:2 national champions final against FC Porto.

1988/89 played Lunde ( on loan ) at FC Aarau under coach Ottmar Hitzfeld, the following season at FC train.

The due to errors caused April 12, 1988 accident (red light disrespect at a railroad crossing in Oberentfelden ) supported thereon injuries, of which Lunde - despite massive support from Uli Hoeness - never recovered, were the cause of his early career end at age 26.

National

Lunde debuted on October 25, 1983 in Budapest, when he lost to the U-21 national team with 1:5 against Hungary U- 21; in this game, he also scored his first goal. His last game for this selection team he played on March 26, 1986 in Manchester in the quarter -final second leg of the U-21 European Championship with a 1-1 draw against England U- 21st

For the senior team, he played three matches; for the first time on 5 October 1983 in Aarhus in the 0-1 defeat against Poland's national team, the last time on 29 April 1987 in Helsinki in a 1-0 win over Finland's national team.

Others

After his career end Lunde was settled in Switzerland and worked as a nurse in a storage operation department at the Kantonsspital Aarau and trained from August 2006, the B -Jugend FC Wangen bei Olten. In the season 2010/11 he was head coach of FC Bern in the second interregional League, the fifth- highest division in Switzerland. In 2012 he took over as coach at second division SC Worb.
