Lars Ohly

Lars- Magnus Harald Christoffer Ohly ( born January 13, 1957 in Stockholm ) is a Swedish politician. 20 February 2004 to 6 January 2012, he was the successor of Ulla Hoffmann party chairman of the Left Party.

Life

Ohly comes from a theologian family. After high school graduation, he worked at the Swedish railway company Statens Järnvägar, where he is still formally employed.

Originally, he was politically active in the youth organization of the Liberal People's Party. In 1978 he became a member of the left - youth organization Ung Vänster and 1979 the Left Party.
