Lars Rehmann

Lars Rehmann ( born May 21, 1975 in Leverkusen ) is a former German tennis player.

Life

Rehmann won the 1993 German youth championship and was on the side of Christian Tambue winner in double at the Australian Open junior tournament. In the same year he reached the finals of the ATP Tournament Hall of Sydney on the side of Alexander Mronz. Against Patrick McEnroe and Richey Reneberg they lost in straight sets.

In 1994 he won the Challenger tournament in Eisenach. He also reached the final as a qualifier of the ATP Tournament of Zaragoza, where he lost to Magnus Larsson. Along with Udo Riglewski he reached the semi-finals Challengerturnier in Heilbronn.

The following year, he once again reached and, as the last time the finals of an ATP tournament. In Seoul, he was defeated Greg Rusedski. Its highest listing in the tennis world ranking he reached in 1995 with position 87 in the singles and in 1994 with position 142 in doubles. His best individual result at a Grand Slam tournament was reaching the second round at the Australian Open 1995.

His last professional game he played in 1998 in Dubai, due to a hip osteoarthritis he retired after the professional sports back. Subsequently, he studied sports management and was between 2000 and 2003 youth coach at TC Blau-Weiß Dresden bubble joke. He then moved to LTTC Rot-Weiß Berlin, where he was club director and tournament director of the Women's Tennis Tournament Qatar Total German Open. After a scandal to the official program book, he was released in 2008.

Rehmann is married to the former Austrian tennis player Melanie Schnell, which was listed in 1996 at No. 90 in the WTA. They have a daughter.
