Lars Wichert

Lars Wichert ( born November 28, 1986 in Berlin ) is a German lightweight rowers.

Wichert began his competitive career at Spandau RV Friesen and then joined the rowing club Allemannia from 1866 to Hamburg.

The World Rowing Championships 2009, he won the silver medal in the lightweight quadruple sculls. The following year he reached at the World Championships on Lake Karapiro in New Zealand in three lightweight boat classes the final, winning gold in the aft and in the quadruple sculls and finished with Daniel Wisgott fifth place in the coxless pairs. 2011 Wichert won the German championship in the lightweight coxless four along with Bastian Seibt and the brothers Jochen and Martin Kuehner. At the 2011 World Championships, he won together with Bastian Seibt the bronze medal in two uncontrolled.
