Lárus Guðmundsson

Lárus Guðmundsson ( born December 12, 1961 in Reykjavík ) is a former Icelandic footballer who played as a striker.

Until 1981, he played for Víkingur Reykjavík. From 1982 to 1984 he played in Belgium for Waterschei. In the season 1984/85 he moved to the first Bundesliga FC Bayer 05 Uerdingen. He graduated from here in three seasons, 62 games and scored 17 goals. In addition, he was able to win with this team the DFB Cup in 1985. Then he played in the 1987/88 season for the 1st FC Kaiserslautern, but in which he came only to seven inserts. From 1980 to 1987, he came to 17 missions in the Icelandic national football team, for which he was able to achieve three goals.
