Lasel

Lasel is a municipality in the district of Bitburg -Prüm, in Rhineland -Palatinate. It belongs to the municipality of Prüm.

Geography

Lasel lies on the River Nims in the Eifel mountains at an altitude of 350 m above sea level. NN.

To Lasel includes the residential places Birkenhof, Hontheim and Steinbachhof.

History

In some cases, the village belonged to the farm in 1268 Seffern and partly to tithe area Reuland. 1684 included the town under the name Lassel four fireplaces.

Only after the French invasion Lasel grew up together. As of 1798, the management of the Mairie Burbach, Arrondissement Prüm was taken. Since 1816 Lasel belonged to the circle of Prüm and since 1971 for the district of Bitburg -Prüm.
