Laser-guided bomb

A laser - guided bomb, often referred to as so-called " smart bomb " can be found by a laser beam labeled target by actively influencing the trajectory with extraordinary accuracy.

In contrast to classical unguided bombs they are guided by a laser beam. This can be used by separate from units, such as helicopters, aircraft, drones or ground units. In the system there is not a bomb, but a kind of supplement for most types of bombs. The essay consists of the search head (seen in the picture) and steerable tail fins. However, in poor visibility, the sensor on the bomb may lose his pilot laser, whereby the laser-guided bomb loses its accuracy.
