Lasse Stefanz

Leave Stefanz, earlier Lasse Stefans, is a Swedish Dansband, which is influenced by country music. The band formed in 1967 in Kristianstad with the musicians Hans Sigfridsson ( guitar, sax ), Lars Sigfridsson ( e -bass, vocals) and Olle Jönsson (drums, vocals). Later Anders Pettersson ( keyboard, accordion ) and Christer Ericsson ( guitar) were added, who composed many of the songs by Lasse Stefanz.

Band History

In 1970, Lasse Stefanz the first single with the songs by Christer Ericsson, two years later the second single. In the same year appeared the first album " Vad tiden går ".

1982 reached Lasse Stefanz a number-one hit in the Svensktoppen with the song Oh Julie from the same album. The Swedish television invited the band to show " Nygammalt " at Sveriges Television, and the album achieved gold record. Between 1983 and 1988 produced Lasse Stefanz more successful six plates. With Lotta Engberg they released the hit Världens lyckligaste par, the 1987 was a great success. With the 1988 released album " Livets ljusa sida ", the band released a duet with Christina Lindberg called De sista ljuva arene, which was also very well known. It remained for entire 65 weeks in the Svensktoppen and thus was a new record in the hit parade.

1988 Lasse Stefanz the awards " Best Dansband " award, both of Sveriges Radio and through the Aftonbladet. 1990 got Lasse Stefanz a Grammis for "Best Dansbandsproduktion 1989 '.
