Lat Lum Kaeo District

Amphoe Lat Lum Kaeo ( Thai: อำเภอ ลาดหลุมแก้ว ) is the westernmost district ( Amphoe - administrative district ) of the province of Pathum Thani. The Pathum Thani province is located in the central region of Thailand.

Geography

Neighboring districts (from north clockwise): Amphoe Lat Bua Luang Ayutthaya Province, Amphoe Sam Khok and the Mueang Pathum Thani Pathum Thani Province and Amphoe Pak Kret, Bang Bua Thong and Sai Noi, Nonthaburi Province.

History

The county was established on 28 March 1916.

Administrative divisions

Amphoe Lat Lum Kaeo is divided into seven communities ( tambon), which in turn in 67 village communities ( Muban ) are divided.

There are two small towns ( thesaban tambon) in the district:

  • Rahaeng ( Thai: เทศบาล ตำบล ระแหง ) consists of parts of the tambon Rahaeng,
  • Khlong Phra Udom ( Thai: เทศบาล ตำบล คลอง พระ อุดม ) consists of the whole Tambon Khlong Phra Udom.

There are still six Tambon administrative organizations (TAO, องค์การ บริหาร ส่วน ตำบล - administrative organizations).
