Lat Phrao District

Lat Phrao ( Thai ลาดพร้าว ) is one of the 50 districts (Khet ) of Bangkok, capital of Thailand. Lat Phrao is a north-eastern suburb district and resides predominantly north of Lat Phrao Road.

Geography

Lat Phrao is bounded on the north by the Khlong Phai Lum ( " Khlong " = channel), the Khlong Lam Kha, Khlong Khok Khram and from Khlong Tha Reng, to the east by Ram Intra At Narong Expressway, to the south by Soi Longchom Longkrao and from Khlong Throng Kratiam and in the West about the Khlong Lat Phrao.

The neighboring districts are from clockwise from the north: Bang Khen, Bueng Kum, Bang Kapi, Wang Thonglang and Chatuchak.

Despite its name, the Thanon Lat Phrao (Lat Phrao - Street) is located in the southern neighbor Khet Wang Thonglang.

The district is divided into two sub-districts ( Kwaeng ):

Parish council

The council of the district of Lat Phrao has seven members, each member shall be elected for four years. The last election was held on 30 April 2006 the results. :
